October's PlayStation shutdown list is short, and most of it is not a Store delist. Push Square's updated rundown, current as of September 25, is four items: Fortnite loses Rocket Racing at some unspecified point in the month, Tower of Fantasy's PS4 servers die on October 20, Call of Duty: Warzone on PS4 is discontinued around the October 23 launch of Modern Warfare 4, and the PS Store on older hardware in the UAE goes dark on October 5. The hours you already have do not go with them.
Warzone on PS4 stops, the row does not
Activision is retiring the PS4 version of Warzone as Modern Warfare 4's first season begins. The new game is out October 23, and the shutdown is expected around then rather than on a separately posted clock. After that, the PS4 app cannot add another session. The Games tab does not delete the title because the servers closed. Last-played freezes on the final online session. The hour total freezes with it, including every lobby you tabbed out of.
That freeze is also a PS4-versus-PS5 split. Time you spent in Warzone on a PS4 is not guaranteed to match whatever the PS5 version has recorded under its own entry. When the old servers go, there is no later sync that will reconcile them. If the PS4 number looks wrong on October 24, it will look the same in December.
Tower of Fantasy can move your character, not your hours
The PS4 version of Tower of Fantasy goes offline entirely on October 20. Progress can be transferred to the PS5 version, and to PC and mobile. A transferred account is not a transferred playtime row. Sony's activity log is per application on PSN. The PS5 copy, if you launch it, starts or continues its own counter. The PS4 copy keeps whatever it had and then stops. Someone who "moved" a 400-hour character can easily show 400 hours on a dead PS4 tile and a handful of hours on PS5. Both figures are Sony's. Neither is the character's real age.
Rocket Racing never had its own line
Epic is removing Rocket Racing as a mode inside Fortnite, sometime in October, without a public day. It is not a separate product on your profile. Those races already live inside Fortnite's hour total, mixed with Battle Royale, Festival, and whatever else the launcher counts as the same app. When the mode disappears, Fortnite does not shrink. You just cannot add more racing time. If you were hoping a delist would clean an embarrassing number off your profile, this will not do it.
UAE loses the old store early
The global PS3 and Vita purchase window still runs to July 2027 in most countries. Push Square lists an exception: on October 5 the PS Store on PS3 and PS Vita in the UAE is disabled, ahead of that date, because Sony is switching the region to local currency. A reader on that article said Mexico's earlier currency switch took PS3 purchases away and left Vita working, so if you are on Vita in the UAE, confirm on the console before you treat October 5 as already over. Either way, this does not touch a modern PS5 library. It does end new buys on hardware whose playtime often never reached the profile PS Playtime reads.
